Critical Volunteer Needs
Below are some critical volunteer needs that we have, please read and see if you can find one that fits you. Our survey in 2024 shows that our owners still want a co-op and are willing to volunteer to make it happen. Now is the time to make a difference! Your help is needed. IT Team
- 1-2 hours/week Website maintenance
- As needed a few hours per month – Help with software optimization, integrations, and process optimization.
- Example: Integrate MailChimp and Hubspot
- Example: Improve the New Owner application and payment process
Capital Campaign Committee (Launch Spring 2026)
We are anticipating launching a $2 million capital campaign in the Spring of 2026 so that we can contribute a majority of capital to the new store. That effort will require a committee of people willing to prepare for, assist in, and constantly evaluate the effort. Anticipated time commitments include:
- 2-4 hours/week reviewing legal documents
- 2-4 hours/week writing investment materials for the capital campaign
- 1-2 hours/week to manage and maintain the Capital Campaign web page
Board of Directors
We currently have seven (7) out of eleven (11) positions filled on our Board of Directors.
We are in need of Board members with a wide variety of backgrounds. Full board terms are three (3) years. The Board meetings are the second Thursday of each month and Work Sessions are the fourth Thursday of each month. We also have quarterly board workdays.
- 1-2 hours/week Meeting attendance
- 2-4 hours/week Meeting preparation and follow-ups
- As needed several hours per month to fulfil your office role, or, committee chair role, or, to advance projects you are working on.
Fundraising and Grant Writing
- 2-4 hours/week creating and executing fundraisers (6-9 months)
- 2-4 hours/week searching for eligible grants
- As needed Writing and reviewing grants
Outreach Committee – Member Engagement
- 1-2 hours/week creating social media, email, and other content
- 1-2 hours/week attending meetings of outreach and marketing teams
- 2-4 hours/week contacting (or re-contacting) members with progress updates
Outreach Committee – Capital Campaign Preparation
- 1-2 hours/week to manage and maintain an FAQ related to our new site and partnership
- 2-4 hours/week in collaboration with Outreach Team, creating marketing content for the capital campaign
