Hillsboro Food Co-op is seeking new board members to start terms beginning June 2024.
Are you looking for a leadership role in your community? This year could be your chance to lead the way to opening our store. We are looking for Board members who are passionate about moving our co-op forward. Fundraising will be a major activity in 2024 as we prepare for the Capital Campaign. We also need people who are good with people to interface with our membership, partnering businesses, and state and local officials. It takes many hands to bring our bring community-owned grocery store to Hillsboro and we know YOU have the skills and energy we need.
We have several board positions open this year. Board terms are normally three years.
Elections will be held prior to the Annual Meeting in April, and new Board members will start their terms at the June 2024 Board meeting.
The Board is currently comprised of ten dedicated volunteers from a variety of backgrounds; you can learn more about them here.
